Subject: a Design Manifesto for the 21th century

Boring!

Privacy
A 19th century concept tied to the rise of the liberal self,
untenable in a connected environment
Products
A moratorium to be globally issued on no more making of things. There
are plenty. We use what we find in the flea markets
Fear
Fear is out. Why worry?
Shopping
The object is ever empty, however much you want to reach it by buying
something, again and again. We design to face this
Success
Failure takes all that into account, that success neatly excludes in
order to claim an 'end' that is successful

Random!

Thresholds
No more masks
Calm
No more spectacle
Struggle
No more seamlessness
Simple
To show, not tell
Quality
To perform your argument, skilfully
Love
Sustainable energy
